FOR ALL: ATTENDANCE, INJURIES, LATENESS, KIT...

Guys,

Im getting a bit annoyed by "injuries" "illness" and attendance/effort.

I will point you all again to your players contract, that states that you must be attending both sessions in the week. End of.

[Harri B & Gozim are excused Monday due to Rehersals]

If you are injured, you see the nurse/doctor and show me some sort of diagnosis. If you arrive in a sling, then I will accept that. You then have a proper assessment and rehabilitation plan in place, from a professional. You stick to the rehab program and come back stronger. You need to take it seriously. Only you know how you feel and only a professional can advise you on a course of treatment. Not me. Not your mate. Not youtube or nhs-online.

If you walk in "a bit tired" from PE, then tough luck. Man up.

If you kinda-maybe-a little bit twinged your ankle during practice. TELL ME. You are then either, hurt, or not. If you want drama and attention, go play football. If you are hurt, sit, rest, take a sub. Do not stroll around at 50% when others want to play. If you are not hurt... then give 100% and stop moaning.

If you do not tell me, then i don't know. End-of.

If you are properly injured, YOU STILL ATTEND TRAINING. You learn the plays by watching, (not your phone) so when you return, you know what is going on. You don't shoot about down the other end, if your able to do that, your able to play. and by play I mean give 100%.

Injuries I know about:

Niklas - Ankle. May not be playing again.

Iraj - Nose. Week to week assessment and discussion with parents.

Henry - Thumb. Continuous.

Excuses I've heard just this week:

"I feel a little bit sick" - next minute wanted to run the whole game

"I may have a bit of pain in my thigh"

"I just had Games lesson" - from 2 people, one played and pushed himself, one walked away and didn't return.

LATENESS:

The only excuse for being vaguely late is if you have a Period 6. You come in, apologise and get ready to play. It is considered RUDE to just walk in and not even say hello. You would not do it in a normal lesson, don't do it in a Academy session.

Monday

Juniors ONLY 4:40 - 5:15 (The only people in the hall are Kian, Max, Harley, Brendan, Jiapeng, Zideo, Anthony & maybe Benno)

All 5:15 - 6:30.

Thursday

All 4:45 - 6:30

Any more lateness with no reason or apology, will mean suicides.

KIT

Every single one of you, except Anthony and Zideo, has a Black/White reversible training jersey. You will wear this for training. No excuses.

Blue Kit is for game day. You can wear the shorts if you wish.

You may wear a short sleeved T-shirt under it if you really must.

You may wear a warm up jersey / t-shirt over it, FOR WARM UP, (lay up lines etc.) ONLY. Once we start running any plays, running the fast breaks etc, i want all in training jerseys. You can pick Black or White.

You will also learn to tie your shoelaces. My 6 year old can do it. Its not hard. It is a safety issue. There is no way you can play in open shoes.

Wrong kit = Suicides, until you remember.

There are 22 of us, (23 with Nathan from Twynham). I would like to see all, either ready to play, properly kitted, or with a doctors note saying otherwise, on Monday, without fail.
