With September fast approaching, we are working hard behind the scenes to get everything in place for the new season. But more of that later... First up, is Trials!!
No-one is guaranteed a place in the program, you have to work for it. And be ready from Day1.
We will be selecting 15 Senior Players, 18 Development Players, and a maximum of 20 Junior players (10 x U14, 10 x U12).
[As before Development can push themselves up, and Senior players can be replaced, but this year we will be brutal, one replaces the other, and numbers in each session will remain the same]
WE ARE OPEN TO BOTH MALE AND FEMALE PLAYERS!!!

Include: Name (player and parent), Age/DOB, Current School / New School as of September, and any relevant basketball history.
From Monday 12th September - Thursday 22nd Sept. Every session will be an open to all Trials. So we are expecting larger numbers than normal. I have received a large number of emails from interested players and we will be oversubscribed. So, unfortunately, some players will have to be cut.
For the Trials the sessions will be:
4:45 - 6:15 - Juniors. This is all players now in Year 6 through to Year 9. (U12 and U14)
6:15 - 8:30 - Seniors. This is Y10 - Y13. (U16 and U18+)
Trials will include basic fitness tests, as well as skill drills, and playing scenarios. Play every drill as a game situation, and push your self to succeed. This year we aim to be tougher than ever, bringing an even more professional approach to training and pushing the Seahawks to improve, succeed and win!
On September 22nd we will be deciding the final squads. Announcements will be made the following morning.
On Friday September 23rd, we hope to hold a welcome BBQ at the school, for all successful players, their parents and guardians and close family. We will hold a quick welcome talk, and then every player will complete their BE registration, there and then. And then we can chill, eat and have a drink and get to know any new faces. (Letters will go out about this nearer the time).
The sessions from September 26th will be selection only.
From this date the Seniors and Dev. will split into separate sessions.
