For those still who haven't signed up to Basketball England ... DO NOT CHANGE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, SO THAT YOU APPEAR TO BE OVER 18!!
This is legal document, for insurance purposes, it shows Basketball England who you are, and if you get injured covers your insurance. If you turn up to hospital and your insurance date of birth does not match who you are, you will not be covered!! It also means that legally you are claiming to be over 18, and then will not be allowed to play in any junior games.
So, when it asks for your DOB, put the CORRECT date in, then some red writing will appear. Do not worry...
1) Put your parents name in first BUT put your contact email. This is then the used sign up email.
2) Under players name, put your name. Again put your email address
3) Keep the address as the school address.
Everything else is the same.
[You will also be paying £15 instead of the junior price of £8.50, which I have to pay, and now have to work out how to claim that back.]
